Gratitude
My childhood was anything but easy; in fact, quite the opposite. But looking back, I’m thankful for my mom, my whole family, and all the struggles I’ve faced, because I believe that everything serves a higher purpose and is necessary for something.
For instance, because we didn’t have much money, I had to quit boxing after the free trial month as we simply couldn’t afford it. Despite the fact that I had become pretty good and the coaches saw in me lots of potential, I went to play chess instead as it was a free class. When considering the fact that at some point of my life I have been around wrong people and made wrong decisions, the strategic thinking which I had developed while playing chess, helped me a lot. As a result, instead of fighting with my fists (which I’ve done not only in boxing, but also in street fights), I learned to think things through and solve problems in a smarter way.
Family
I am a father of 4 children and this is something I am really proud of. In fact, it is mostly thanks to my first child that I got my things and life together back then, when I was 25. And also later, most of my good decisions have been made because of my children. I am not always the perfect father as I also love and enjoy everything connected to my business, but I am doing my best to balance the two main sides of me – entrepreneur and family man, Sulev.
The only time and place when I am leaving my entrepreneurial side behind is when we all drive away to our countryside, where I can turn off my mobile and just be in this moment, spending quality time in nature and with my loved ones.
Also, for me, self-development and becoming a better leader means not only leading bigger teams and bigger businesses, but also being a better father and a better life partner. In this sense, home is always the first and best place to practise any kind of leadership skills.
Discipline
What I really like, is self-discipline and pushing myself to do more than I think I can. Especially doing things I don’t initially enjoy.
About 7 years ago, I started working out. I liked the struggle of waking up in the morning at 5 o’clock through resistance, tears and cold showers.
And it is not only about going to the gym, but also about any kind of self-improvement, accepting challenges, solving problems, finding better ways, putting in the work, making an effort.
Ambition
I’ve known from a very young age that I want more. I want to take our family further; I want to become a millionaire. I want to play big and make a difference. And those were not only words; I also took action, lots of action. As a result, I astonished my family already at the age of 13 by earning more than my entire extended family combined and by being able to support my aunts and parents.
Many years later, as an adult, I faced a situation where everything was very, very bad, but I managed to cope with all those problems very, very well. All thanks to the hardships I’ve had since I was little.
Contribution
Times change, and so do our priorities. Many years and many businesses after my first dream of becoming a millionaire, I have seen lots of big numbers coming and going from my bank account.
Honestly, even though bigger numbers have brought bigger opportunities and more freedom, the actual feeling hasn’t been as different as I would have expected.
As a result, I am no longer running after money but rather after my values and opportunities to contribute.
Fortunately, I’ve always been the kind of person who finds joy in others happiness. Especially when their happiness is a result of something I’ve done. Such energy is a much more powerful resource than just numbers in a bank account, and that’s why we’ve integrated more ways to contribute also into our businesses.

When life puts you in tough situations, don’t say “WHY ME” say “TRY ME”
I have acquired all my professional skills through action, simply by navigating life. Often, I have started doing something with complete ignorance but with enough boldness to challenge myself. It’s only through trial-error and personal experiences that proficiency has followed.
Yes, of course I sometimes desire the faster and easier shortcuts, but at the same time I believe that everything must be as it is, that everything has its purpose and the journey itself is as necessary as the outcome.
As I know and feel that my goals in this life are big, very big, I also know that my constant growth as a person and as a leader is required. That’s why I persistently and steadily continue to find and create paths not only for myself but also for others around me. Yes, the goal is still to reach the top, but not by competing, but by completing each other.
